Marine Corps Ball 2008

November 7th, my husband: who is an American Bad ASSSSS!  Celebrated the Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the San Diego Grand Hyatt.   We really had a wonderful time and cant wait until next year!  I also went to Julies house on Sat afternoon to scrapbook with the girls.  We had an excellent time and plan on doing it again.  The Bergman boys stayed in Hemet and hung out with daddy all weekend.   What a break for the boys!

We had Peyton's first open house this last Tuesday night.  We got to visit Peyton's classroom, visit with his teacher Miss Corrin and see some of his art work.  I got a kick out of his drawing that he did on "What God looks Like."  He also made a yellow star that had a quote "Why I am Special."  I can tell that Peyton loves his school because when it was time to go he cried and screamed trying to push me back from making him leave.

On another note Bill found out today that he was leaving for Fallon, Nevada on Sept. 24th and would be gone for three weeks.  Thank God its not going to be any longer.  He will make it home to take the boys to the Pumpkin Patch and be here to celebrate Peyton's 3rd Birthday.  Until next time have a great evening!!!

Disneyland Trip

My husband and I took the boys to Disneyland this last week.  We had a great time!  Lets just say I had my feel of Disneyland for a few years.  It was extremely hot and of course a lot of people.  It was hard to ride the rides with having our little guy Conner with us.

Back to reality Wednesday morning Peyton started back to Preschool with a new teacher Miss Corrin. Mommy also started the next nine weeks of classes.

Family Update

Its been a few weeks since I posted so I thought I would update you on whats been going on.  I have been taking on-line classes for the last nine weeks and this week is finals week so I have been trying to get a Powerpoint presentation done and a 1500 word paper done all by Sunday Aug. 31st.  

Peyton finished his last day of pre preschool and will start preschool next Wednesday morning.  I am so happy I chose to put him in school three days a week.  He has enjoyed it so much and mommy looks forward to the breaks while he is in school.

Conner is doing great he is going to be 15 months already growing like a weed.  

My husband is just working and getting ready to leave to Fallon in a few weeks for about 3 to 6 weeks not sure how long yet.

Its FRIDAY finally.  My husbands family is still here visiting.  Today Peyton has water day at pre-school he is so excited to wear his swimsuit to school.  I am on my way to the Dr's today for that fun checkup that women have to do. My parents are also do to come and visit today.  Thank God!! Have a great day! 

Saturday Morning

Good Morning!

I know I have been really bad about updating this blog but not really much going on that is exciting to pass on to you all.  Today Bill is taking the boys to the gym with him while I finally go get a haircut.  It sucks that I don't have my friend Julie here to trim it for me.  Thanks Julie!!!  Just a few more days until my mother-n-law and sister-n-law fly into San Diego.  They will be visiting us for a week.  Also my mom and dad are coming in from Arizona to visit with us and family. Good Times!!!!  

  

Earthquake that rocks Southern California

At 11:44am this morning we had a 5.4 earthquake.  I was actually checking my email, just put the boys down for a nap and it happened.  My house starting shaking and moving back and forth. WEIRD!!!  I have been in a few earthquakes before but this one seemed to last forever.  My first thought was to grab the boys but then it stopped.  After it was all over my heart was pounding and I was a little shaky.

Its Friday....

We awoke to an email from daddy this morning with this pic attached.  Its always nice to have a new pic of daddy to show the boys and to see my wonderful husband.  I think he just wants to show off his big muscle in his tight green shirt he is wearing. LOL!!!

 I sure hate the weekends I seem to miss Bill more because its the time we spend as a family when he is home and not deployed.  We don't have much planned for the weekend.  My family is coming into town and we will wake up tomorrow and drive to Temecula to see them at my sister's house.  We are going to visit my cousin Debbie Moore who today had surgery to remove her breast due to she has cancer.  We only found out two weeks ago with the news.  We are all praying for her and we know she will be strong and fight to the end.  Cancer Sucks!!!!  

Life!!!!!

Its Saturday morning and I am feeling a lot better.  I have been under the weather for the last week.  But thank god for my friend Julie who is coming to take Peyton for the afternoon and she also took him the other day for me.  

Bill is having trouble with keeping on line with me these last few days which sucks.  All I want is to be able to talk with him.  He says its because of the bad sand storms they are having.  We only have a few more months of this and he will finally be home.

Bunco Night

Mommy is going out to play bunco with the girls tonight (San Jacinto-Hemet SAHM).  The boys are staying home with a babysitter for the first time.  Hopefully everything goes ok.  

Today of course was another one of those days that Peyton did not listen to mommy.  Peyton has another thing coming when daddy comes home.  I seem to believe that a lot of his behavior is due to his dad not being here and this is the only way he can express his feelings.  

Conner is growing so fast he is now 10 months old.  He is starting to walk all over the place any day he will be on his way.

Welcome....I have decided to start a blog of our family and to keep a diary of our life together.

A little about how our family started.  Bill and I meet in 2002 but never started dating until May 2004.  We found out we were pregnant in Feb. 2005 and due with our first son Peyton on Oct. 30 2005.  So lets just say we needed to get married, so I became Mrs. Bergman on Sept. 28, 2005.  Then when Peyton was only 9 months old I was pregnant again with our second boy Conner who was born on June 11, 2007.  

My husband is currently serving in Iraq and has been since Jan. 3rd 2008 and due home in July 2008.  I am sooooo ready for daddy to come home.  This has been a long road for me carying for the two boys without a daddy.
